Spatial is a social VR platform which allows users to access virtual spaces through a WebGL interface; removing the need to download an application. Spatial hosts a rapidly growing user base which has evolved into an active community of avid users. Events may be private or made available to the public. Spatial frequently updates the platform adding new features as well as improving existing ones. The application offers impressive options for recording #virtual presentations while allowing hosts and speakers a wide range of choices for how to develop their programs. Using their Unity SDK, custom worlds and 3D assets can be directly uploaded and shared with users globally. At the beginning of 2023, a significant update was announced which included the addition of a creator toolkit (beta), an improved pipeline to upload custom environments, and new options for integrating animations. Users can share ideas via interactive whiteboards, sticky notes, links, models, and images, via an in-app editor.
